Each year, the Iowa Open Educational Resources Action Team runs a survey of colleges in the state to learn more about their capacity for and interest in OER development. The results of these surveys are shared freely online: Iowa OER Survey Results Archive.

Below, you can find an interactive dashboard which showcases a small portion of the data from our last annual survey. Click on a single aspect of the survey (e.g. “Yes” or “No” on the “Organized efforts to Support OER” option) to filter the views and learn more.

This dashboard was originally developed in 2024 by Griffin Engel, a graduate student at the University of Iowa’s School of Library and Information Science.
