Indiana Affordable Learning Summit

The 2025 Indiana Affordable Learning Summit will be held in-person and virtually on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Prindle Institute of DePauw University and on Zoom. The theme of this year’s summit is Opening up faculty/instructor-library collaboration: equipping educators with what they need for OER.
Topics of interest for proposals include:
- Exploring Open Education Pedagogy
- Interdisciplinary Partnerships
- OER in the Classroom: Examples and Strategies
- AI and OER
- Creative Commons and Public Domain: licensing OER materials (e.g. student work, open textbooks)
- Other topics related to open textbooks or open pedagogy
Panels and collaborative sessions, along with handouts, resources, and specific examples of how you implemented OER, are encouraged.
The deadline for proposals is Monday, March 31, 2025, via this form. The Planning Committee will deliver decisions by April 28, 2025. Invited presenters will be asked to accept or decline the invitation to present by May 2, 2025. Free registration for the event itself will open in April – stay tuned for that.
